Photogenic, stately,
and laid back, Smokey was our "gentle-man" companion. He also had a
playful side and a deep and abiding love for his "cat dancer". Smokey's
passing so soon after Murphy's left us with a huge void in our hearts and lives;
however, we are filling the emptiness with happy memories and the escapades of
Jasper and Guinness, their feline companions.

Her last few days were spent at my home where I continued with her therapy and

"Sweet
William" Krucoff
Sweet William was the much beloved pet of
Larry and Carol Krucoff. William passed on in 2005 but will always be
remembered by friends, family, and even the Chicago Fire Department as an
honorary fire fighting hero. When a fire broke out in the Krucoffs'
kitchen, Willie quickly broke into action with Lassie-like determination.
He ascended the stairs to the bedrooms where his family was sleeping and woke
them. They were then able to exit the premises in time to save themselves
and the house. For his bravery and courage, the Chicago Fire Department
awarded him a commendation which was covered by the local TV news stations.
Willie will always be missed and remembered by all!
